Anushka developed an interest in acting and modeling at a young age. She began her modeling career while still in school and appeared in several television commercials and print ads. Her breakthrough came when she was selected to participate in the Femina Miss India 2007, where she finished as the runner-up.

In 2018, Anushka Sharma launched her production house, Clean Slate Films, which aims to produce thought-provoking and socially relevant content. Her production, "Pari" (2018), received critical acclaim, and her subsequent productions, "Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga" (2019) and "Sooryavanshi" (2020), have been commercially successful.

Her performances have earned her numerous awards and nominations, including a Filmfare Award for Best Actress.

Anushka's Bollywood debut, "Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi," was a massive success, earning her critical acclaim and commercial success. Her chemistry with co-star Shah Rukh Khan was widely appreciated, and the film's success marked the beginning of her successful acting career.

Anushka Sharma was born to a army officer father, Colonel Arun Sharma, and a homemaker mother, Ashima Sharma. She has a younger brother, Karnesh Sharma. Anushka's family moved frequently during her childhood due to her father's job, and she spent her early years in various parts of India.
