As we explored the village, we came across several women who were expertly weaving intricate designs onto fabric using traditional techniques. They told us about the various types of handlooms found across India, from the famous Pochampalli sarees of Telangana to the majestic Kashmir pashmina shawls.
As we concluded our visit, Srikant gifted us a beautiful handloom saree, which he had woven himself. The vibrant colors and intricate designs seemed to come alive as we wrapped it around us, feeling a deep connection to the rich cultural heritage of India.
